Good morning! 

As I sit at this computer and then look at the clock, I think that I need to get off of here and get to work. Sometimes I loose such track of time!

So, I will try to make this blog a quicky. I know that you are busy too.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,

Are you quick to listen? Are you slow to speak? Are you slow to become angry?

I try but I don't do such a great job. My listening and speaking has gotten worse as I get older. I need to be a better listener. I try to multi-task too much and that isn't near as good as it used to be. Lord help me!

When I try to do so many things at once, sometimes I don't get anything done. So, if I am doing something and then try to listen at the same time, I don't listen very well. I need to stop what I am doing and then listen wholeheartedly. 

I also need to think about what I say before I say it. I certainly don't want to hurt anyone. I also need to take notes when I say I will do something because I sometimes forget what I said I would do. 

If this doesn't make sense, forgive me. God is with me and will help us with these things. All we need to do is ask for His help.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
