REJOICE


Good morning to you!
Well, another day of VBS is gone. It was wonderful again last night with even more children. We are so blessed and praising God for His many blessings. He is so good, great and awesome!

This day the Lord has made. I choose to rejoice and be glad in it! How about you?

"Faith in Christ is the foundation for joy and hope in life. Jesus' life on earth, his death and resurrection is the cornerstone of Christian faith. This faith is not based on the state of our emotion. That's why it is important to study the Scriptures to strengthen our faith and grow in our knowledge of the truth. The Bible teaches that Jesus came into the world, entered human suffering and conquered sin and death. Only through faith in Jesus Christ can we persevere and sustain our hope and joy. The Bible gives us reason to rejoice. We rejoice because God showed his love and grace to us. We have reason to celebrate because God is in control. Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

 Psalm 13:5
But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.

 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

 Psalm 40:16
But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "The LORD be exalted!"

 James 1:2-4
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

 Psalm 30:5
For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
