REJOICE
Good morning to you!
Well, another day of VBS is gone. It was wonderful again last night with even more children. We are so blessed and praising God for His many blessings. He is so good, great and awesome!
This day the Lord has made. I choose to rejoice and be glad in it! How about you?
"Faith in Christ is the foundation for joy and hope in life. Jesus' life
on earth, his death and resurrection is the cornerstone of Christian
faith. This faith is not based on the state of our emotion. That's why
it is important to study the Scriptures to strengthen our faith and grow
in our knowledge of the truth. The Bible teaches that Jesus came into
the world, entered human suffering and conquered sin and death. Only
through faith in Jesus Christ can we persevere and sustain our hope and
joy. The Bible gives us reason to rejoice. We rejoice because God showed
his love and grace to us. We have reason to celebrate because God is in
control. We should rejoice because God is good and his love endures
forever. We must learn to rejoice in the Lord always." by John Sachem, a Yahoo Contributor
These verses should help you rejoice in the Lord!
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
Psalm 13:5
But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
Psalm 40:16
But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "The LORD be exalted!"
James 1:2-4
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Psalm 30:5
For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
There are certainly more scriptures. You can look them up yourself!
And I will share this verse again:
Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
Have a wonderful day of rejoicing!
