GOD WORKS ON OUR BEHALF

Good morning!

How are you this fine Wednesday? As I said yesterday this is a very busy week. I am sorry that I did my blog on my phone yesterday morning. I had to go somewhere early and since I hadn't posted in a couple of days, I just had to do it that way. That is just what I had to do and with such a small screen it took me awhile.

At the women's conference in Pensacola this past weekend one of the speakers talked about her marriage. Her husband was not a Christian and turned to alcohol and abuse but she told God that she was going to stay with him and trust God to help her deal with it all. God had to help her every step of the way and she went through a whole lot with her boys with a drunk for a father. But God was in control and after many years her husband received Christ and her marriage changed amazingly. Now I wasn't going to tell you who she was but I think that I will. It was the matriarch, Miss Kay Robertson from Duck Dynasty. Yes, Phil wasn't always a nice guy.

It is wonderful how God can use people to help others. I am sure that there was someone at the conference that really needed to hear what God wanted to say through Miss Kay.

God can even use you or me to help others. We just have to open up ourselves to God's leading and then depend on Him to give us the words or actions that He wants. Remember that God equips the called. So, if He calls you, He is going to equip you. He will give you everything you need to do the job that He calls you to. We don't have to doubt His work in our lives.

God doesn't call the equipped, He equips the called.

Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Hebrews 13:20-21

for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
Philippians 2:13

Have a wonderful day!
