GETTING READY

 

Good morning!
What a great and blessed Saturday! Are you resting today or preparing for Easter Sunday? We have been preparing for a week sort of. I can't wait for the services tomorrow. Our Sunrise Service tomorrow is at 6:45 AM on the hill at the cemetery down the street from our church. That should be awesome. Sunrise is at 7:03 AM. And it is supposed to be clear and 78* tomorrow. We are doing a cantata called Footsteps of Jesus. And I am excited about that also. It should be a very worshipful and awesome day to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I did the special bulletin for tomorrow. I made my husbands Easter basket. I do wish that we could dye eggs and do an egg hunt with our grandchildren. I just wish we could see them. I have much, much more to do before tomorrow because we are having a couple day hiatus from work etc. Praise the Lord!

Jesus loves us so much that:

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. 
1 Peter 2:24

For he was teaching his disciples, saying to them, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill him. And when he is killed, after three days he will rise.” 
Mark 9:31

So, Jesus has died on the cross yesterday, and tomorrow, as He said, He will rise again. And that is what we celebrate. 

Tomorrow is Easter Sunday. Go to church. Hear the resurrection story. Worship Him! Feel His presence. Know Him better. Give your life to Him fully and completely. And then live for Him! Also get ready for His return.

He is worthy!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
