GIVE OUR ALL

 Sometime last summer somewhere!

Hello on this great Monday afternoon!

I am sitting on a deck at a cabin in the mountains outside Blue Ridge, GA. What a beautiful day which the Lord has made.

It is so peaceful and quiet. Except for our yawns and the birds. Three of us are sitting outside reading, well, I am not reading I am doing this. And the yawns are going around. Sounds like it is time for a nap. And I think I will. 

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow! Praise God for hard work because then we can praise God for a little bit of rest and relaxation. And today is another day of rest for some of us. A time to get away with friends and have fun laughing and shopping and eating and eating some more. Sometimes when you are away from home it seems like all you do is eat.

Help us Jesus to be pleasing in your sight.

equip you in every good thing to do His will, working
 in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ,
 to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Hebrews 13:21

I want to please Him with my worship, my life, my love, my sacrifices. How great is that? What more can I give to Jesus except my very all. But I want to do better than that. Sometimes I am lacking.

But Jesus loves us anyway and wants to:

                        Take delight in the LORD, and he will 
                           give you the desires of your heart.
                                             Psalm 37:4

So, let's give our all to Him and He will give us Himself which should be the desire of our heart.

Amen and amen! Praise the Lord!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
