GOD PROVIDES

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you 
through and through. May your whole spirit, 
soul and body be kept blameless at the 
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:23
Oh, what an awesome God we serve! Our home church had a fundraiser spaghetti dinner last night to raise money for our mission trip. God is so good! There wasn't a lot of people there unfortunately but the money raised for the trip is always awesome. And I thank each and every person who came, and prepared, and helped in any way. It really means a lot to us.

But that is why God is good. He always provides for us. And I don't necessarily mean for the mission trip, which He does. But I am talking about our personal lives. He provides for us in every way.

If we follow Him as we should, He will provide for us in every way. If we need money to pay our bills, He provides that money. If we need more time to do what we need to, God provides the time. If we need strength to run the race of life, He will provide strength. If we need the words to say to someone about Him, He will provide those words. Whatever we need, He provides. 

The key word is need. God knows what we need. Now our wants are a different story. They may not line up with God's will for our lives. But our needs, the ones we really need, He will provide. 

And my God will supply every need of yours 
according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 
Philippians 4:19

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good 
gifts to your children, how much more will 
your Father who is in heaven give
 good things to those who ask him!  
Matthew 7:11

Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, 
they have neither storehouse nor barn, 
and yet God feeds them. Of how much 
more value are you than the birds! 
Luke 12:24

O God, thank you for Your awesome provision. You are so great and greatly to be praised. And You know exactly what we need at all times. And thank you so much for always being there for us and supplying our needs. You, O God, are amazing! Thank you Lord! Amen!

Remember God loves us and will supply our needs. You can count on it!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.
