TRUST AND BELIEVE


 Why do I love taking pictures of flowers? One reason is it 
shows the beauty of God's creation because He made them!

Good morning to you this fine day!
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and 
peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow 
with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13

 Did you know that only Jesus is our hope, and our joy and our peace? And that He is the only one that we can trust completely. So then we may overflow with Him (hope in His glory) by the power of His Spirit in us.

while we wait for the blessed hope--
the appearing of the glory of our great 
God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
Titus 2:13

I have told you these things so that you will be filled 
with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!
John 15:11

For He Himself is our peace...
Ephesians 2:14a


Wow! God loves us so much that He gave His Son, who died on the cross for our sins, so that we might have these things from Him, if we believe. Trusting in Him and believing in Him. We won't trust Him if we don't believe in Him. And we won't believe in Him if we don't trust in Him. I suppose that might not work in every circumstance but to receive the things of God we must believe in Him and trust that He will do what He says He will do.
 
All Jesus asks us to do is love Him with all your Heart.  When you do, then it is very easy to trust and believe Him.
Trust would actually mean that a person places complete confidence in another person (God) and can rely on Him for anything. That's faith!
Believe is a more temporary concept that requires the person to place faith in a person for a select time frame. Believe can also refer to accepting that something is true or someone is true.
So, when you believe that God is real and keep believing it for all your days (having faith) and you accept Jesus as your Savior, then you can trust Him. And maybe sometimes that takes awhile because we might have had an issue with trust. But Jesus is God and we can trust Him to keep His promises and to never leave us. And that is what He will do as He fills us with Himself: Peace, Joy, and Hope! But we must believe!

VICTORY

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
