FAMILY

Good morning to you this blessed morning!

I pray that you had a wonderful night. I did! I just praise the Lord for His awesome blessings. He is so good to us. I praise Him for my family and my friends and for all He has done for me. He has blessed me beyond measure. Thank You, Jesus!

It was in the mid-50's in North Carolina today. I am at my sister's with my Dad and Step-Mom. The sky was clear as a bell and the sun was so warm. I was helping my sister trim plants while my Dad trimmed all the rose bushes, and my brother-in-law cleaned up the mess and raked. When I was sitting in the chair in the warm sun it was like a burden lifted off of me. It was so refreshing to be outside and the sun warmed me down to my bones. I guess I am very ready for spring. It was so nice.

After dinner we were blessed to talk to my daughter and son-in-law on Hangout and our son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons on FaceTime. Everyone looks so good and it was so great to talk to everyone. What a blessing to have family to love and spend time with even if it is on the computer. I don't know what people do that don't have a family.

Well, do you know what? We are the family of God. We are God's children and He is our heavenly Father. We are to love everyone including our enemies. Just like our family and friends we don't have to love what they do but we are to love the person. As the family of God we need to love God first, then everyone else, even the unlovable, practice hospitality, pray for everyone, do good to all. 
But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children—
Psalm 103:17 

Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior's hands. How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.

How cool is that? We are members of God's family. That is so wonderful. When we are feeling alone or really are alone, we can remember that we have a family to love us and whom we can love back, and that is the family of God.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.
