THEN WHAT?
Good morning on this wonderful and blessed day!
7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
1 John 4:7-12
It may take more than one day to tell you about living for Jesus but we will start now.
Therefore do not be unwise, but understand
what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:17
The first thing we must do is seek God's Word to find out what His will is for our lives. You need to grab your Bible and start reading it. If you have any tracts, read them. They will also help you know what to do.
God has made some very specific promises in His Word and it is His
will to fulfill every one of them in your life. In fact, those promises
are divinely guaranteed by a contract that's been signed in the blood of
Jesus. No question! So after salvation then what?
Think of it this way. Your Bible is the last will and testament
of Jesus Christ. It is a record of your inheritance. Everything that
belongs to you has been written down in that book and the smartest thing
you can do is to find out what is in it.
Don't leave your Bible lying on the coffee table! You're searching for the truth. Well after a person experiences being saved the "then what" is the journey. It's an awesome journey!
You are starting out reading God's Holy Word and finding out how much He loves you and how you are to love Him. And in the process you will find His will for your life. Keep reading! It is all there.
We will continue tomorrow! God loves you!
Have a great day!
