OUR NEEDS
Good morning on this extra fine day!
God is so good all the time. I was blessed to spend the day and night with my grandsons. I have always known that there is a reason why young people have children. Well, I was reminded of that. I was in heaven but really worn out. Two little boys have more energy than a whole classroom of kids. And I loved every second of it!
But I will tell you this. I didn't sleep well at all. I went to sleep fine because I was really tired. But I woke up about 6 times to go the the bathroom. Most of them I went back to sleep. But several of them I layed there awhile and when I woke up at 5 am I never did go back to sleep. Ugh! Now I am really tired. And I have to drive home. God will get me home safely.
God provides everything we need for what He wants us to do. He supplies all our needs whether physical or material. He knows what we need even before we ask.
God provides everything we need for what He wants us to do. He supplies all our needs whether physical or material. He knows what we need even before we ask.
And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
This is the confidence we have in
approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
1 John 5:14
Therefore do not be like them. For
your Father knows the things you have
need of before you ask Him.
Matthew 6:8
Wow! God knows what we need even before we ask Him. So, why do we need to ask if He already knows? Well, first He wants us to depend on Him, not take Him for granted. Remember we are to have a personal relationship with Him and that means sharing all our wants and needs and lives with Him, talking to Him, fellowshipping with Him. That is like going to the grocery store. They know we need food, that is why they sell it. But if we don't go in and get it (ask for it) we won't get it. I don't know if my analogy is correct but maybe you get the picture.
So, let's ask God in prayer for other's needs and our needs and then trust Him to meet those needs. The answer may be yes or no or later. They are all answers. It is His will and His time that counts. Not ours.
So, let's trust God today and just maybe He will give us the desires of our heart.
Have a wonderful day!
