FOR US


Good morning!
The sun came out yesterday afternoon. It was so nice. It wasn't too warm but it was very bright. I thank the Lord for the sunshine. As I said before, the sunshine makes my heart sing. 

What a busy day today. We have been working on the renovation and we have got a lot done. I am so excited. The painting is about done. I have color in my house for the first time ever. Well, I have it in other rooms but my living and dining room now have color. They were off white for 22 years. It looks so warm and inviting. Now my sofa and love seat look old and worn. Oh well. I am sure we will have those until the recliners don't work anymore. And they are Lazy Boys so they may last forever.

Last night we watched the movie My Santa. It was really a great Christmas movie on ion television. A real sweet movie. My husband records all these movies for me and then watches them with me. I think that is so sweet of him.

You know that Jesus does so much for us also. But so much more. Jesus does these things for us:
  1. Jesus enters your life, never to leave.
  2. Jesus forgives all your sins.
  3. Jesus gives you eternal life with him.
  4. Jesus hears and answers your prayers.
  5. Jesus gives you power to obey him.
How amazing and awesome are the things that Jesus has done and does for us!

But we need to accept Him as our Lord and Savior. If you have not done this yet, it is something you need to do before it is too late.

Think about it. It is a choice. A very, very important one.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
