Hello! Greetings on this blessed day!
Are you ready for the new year? I am and I am not. I am because God is an awesome God and it is always wonderful to see what He does in my life and my family's lives. And then again I am always a little scared of a new year. With all the world and our great country are going through at this time, it is really hard to know what is going to happen in the days to come. Some people predict doom and gloom type stuff and some people say it won't get worse. I tend to believe it will get worse because the Bible talks about things happening before Jesus comes back.

I guess that is where we really have to trust God. We don't know what will happen in the future but God does. And no matter what that might be He will help us and get us through it good or bad. He is always with us and will never leave us. He is amazing!

And so I trust Him and know that what I just said is true. I will try not to be afraid. I will try not to fret. I will live for Jesus the best I can in my human frailty. And I know that He is with me all the way. And what's even better is that He is with you also.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
