TRUST
Good morning!
I started writing this blog last night so I could get ahead of the game. When I went to it this morning I realized I was writing Sunday's blog. It is Saturday. Go figure!
Our church has a float in a Christmas Parade tonight and my husband is talking about parking at our church. Well, I looked at a map and realized that the church is more than 11 blocks from where we think the parade is starting. Since we can't find a parade route online to see the exact route, it is kind of frustrating. We don't really know where exactly it might be. Ugh!
I hate to be a party pooper but I have been having trouble with my legs getting numb and tingly and feeling like they weigh 200 lbs. so how do I walk that far? My husband called me ambulatory. I do not like getting older. It stinks.
So, oh how I must trust the Lord in all things. That means everything. What if I get half way there and I can't go further? What if I get all the way to the parade and can't walk back? And then standing for two hours watching the parade, my legs might not do that.
I must not think such things. I must think positive. I must trust the Lord all the way or I will never do anything. And I don't want to get that way where I don't trust the Lord enough to help me in every situation. And you must do that also.
Offer right sacrifices and trust in the LORD.
Psalm 4:5
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but
we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
Psalm 20:7
Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
Psalm 37:5
I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and
my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
The Book of Psalms is full of scripture about trust in the Lord. How can we go wrong in trusting the Lord. For He is good and His love endures forever.
Let us trust in the Lord always!
Have a blessed day!
