PRAY
I just found this blog that I wrote on the 20th and never posted. Am I too busy for my own good or what?
12-20
Good morning to you!
I pray that you are well today. I sure am. God is so good. Our daughter and son-in-law will be here tomorrow night. I am so excited. They haven't been home for two years. And my son and family will be here late on Christmas Eve. Pray for traveling safety from South Florida and middle Tennessee.
Let's also pray for those who are hurting. I know that there are so many that are sick at this time. Or those who for some reason are very sad and that is not how we want to be at this time of the year. But it happens. Only God knows what others are going through. So, we don't need to know the details to pray for someone. We can just lift up their name to the Lord, and He will hear our prayers and know every detail of the situation.
intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone--
1 timothy 2:1
Ephesians 6:18
of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
James 5:16
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God.
So, pray for others. The checker at the store may be grumpy, but there may be a very good reason for that. Their husband might have left them or their child got in trouble or something has happened that you have no idea. We never know what others are going through. We just need to show them the love of Jesus and pray for them.
So, let's love and pray for everyone. God calls us to love and pray for others.
Have a blessed day!
Love,
Les (lesbear)
