WORHSHIP HIM

Good morning to you on this fine day!

I am hoping that today is not a rainy day. The last four have been just dark and drizzly. I am looking for the sun to shine. And when the sun shines my heart sings, if you know what I mean.

Well, we worked hard all day yesterday at home. And then I went to a Christmas party last night. We played bingo after some great food and music which was a lot of fun. I am not very good at bingo. I never seem to have "the card". And when they read off the numbers I am kind of slow or the reader is kind of fast. Not sure which! But it was fun anyway.

So, today will be another busy day. I am not sure when we will decorate for Christmas or shop. Well, maybe I won't do either. But I can't do that. I love to decorate my house for Christmas. My husband says I overdo. But that is okay although I know I won't be overdoing this year.

Have you ever thought that some people overdo Jesus? All they ever do is talk about Jesus. Well, that is what a relationship with Jesus is. You can't overdo. When He is your life, He should be all of your life and all of your being. And He should be in the midst of everything and around everything and over everything and under everything in your life. He should be your life!

Everything we do should be an act of worship. We should be living a clean life all for Him. Loving Him. Talking to Him. Serving Him. Praising Him. Worshiping Him.

One of my Bible studies this week is on worship as I said yesterday. And it is all about Who Jesus is and why we worship Him. It is not about us but all about Him, that He is our All in all, King of kings and Lord of lords. The Almighty Prince of peace, Creator, Provider, Redeemer, Healer, Protector. WORTHY IS THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN! And all because of Who He is. Grace was made for us because of the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross.

Oh worship Him! Don't give up. Keep on doing it. We need the practice so when we get to heaven we will know what to do there. Although how we worship Him here will be nothing compared to how we worship Him in heaven. But that is okay. Let's do it anyway because He tells us to and because He deserves it.

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.  Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.  Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.  For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Psalm 100:1-5

Have an abundant day!
