GOD'S HELP

 

Good morning on this fine Saturday!

Have you ever woke up in the morning and almost felt as if you never went to bed? That is how I feel this morning. I said that to my husband and he said that it was the bed. It may be part bed and part doing so much that you are so exhausted that 6 or 7 hours of sleep is just not enough. One of these days I am going to just sleep and read and do nothing all day. I said that once before in a blog and it hasn't happened yet. Oh, Lord please help me!

And He is an every-present help in time of trouble.

Listen to my cry for help, my King 
and my God, for to you I pray.
Psalm 5:2

"There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides on the 
heavens to help you and on the clouds in his majesty.
Deuteronomy 33:26

Even if you go and fight courageously in battle, 
God will overthrow you before the enemy, for 
God has the power to help or to overthrow."
2 Chronicles 25:8

Yet I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You 
are my help and my deliverer; O my God, do not delay.
Psalm 40:7

Surely God is my help; the Lord 
is the one who sustains me.
Psalm 54:4

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be 
dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and 
help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

God is our refuge and strength, 
an ever-present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1 

So, in all this I will depend on the God of the universe. The God Who created me. The One Who sustains me. My help and deliverer. My strength, my help, and my refuge. My ever-present help in trouble and my deliverer. He is all those things and more. Oh, so much more.

Let Him help you with no matter what you are going through. And in this Christmas season let Him be your God and your King. For that is what He is. He wants to know you and to show you His love. Let Him! Fill up your heart with Jesus in this very busy time. And let Him take you for the ride of your life! He is worth it!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.
