PREPARE

Good morning to you!
It is Monday obviously. It was hard to get up this morning. We have been working hard on the renovation and boy am I worn out. We still have two weeks to go. And we don't have a kitchen sink. Paper products all the way except when we forget, which is pretty often.

I am late writing this this morning. I got up late and I have been spackling nail holes in the walls and dusting the walls with a broom. I haven't even exercised in a while and I am using muscles that I didn't know I had. The day that I pulled lots of nails up from the floor, my shoulders were so sore the next day like I had been lifting weights. 

We haven't had much sunshine the last couple of weeks and lots of rain so it has been kind of dreary here. But we have hope that the sun will shine soon and I know that it is shining somewhere. Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!

What a wonderful couple of services at church yesterday. I was truly blessed. Last night we had scripture, Christmas carols, and testimonies. It was very rainy so some who usually come didn't. It is too bad they missed the service. It was great.

Well, on this Monday I pray that God would truly bless you and that you would have an awesome day. Also may we continue to prepare our hearts for the Birthday of the King. Remember that Jesus is the Reason for the season. May He be glorified!

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
