LOOK AND FEEL BETTER

Good morning to you!

Blessed are ye! I know that the Lord has blessed you. And I know that the Lord has blessed me. How can we not know that? He has given us everything we have including redemption through Jesus Christ and salvation, also through Jesus Christ. Now if we don't know that or don't have Jesus living inside of us, it is time. Don't let another day go by without knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that you will be in heaven with Jesus for eternity when our days here on earth are over.

God gave us everything we have and everything He had on the cross. By His death and resurrection we have eternal life. We can live in these bodies we have on earth but when our days on earth are over then He gives us glorious bodies to live in heaven.

But while here on earth we can take care of the bodies we have. We can get into shape and look our best all the time. Of course, we may already be in shape. But maybe we just don't take care of ourselves.

But how do we do it all? First of all, fill up our hearts and minds with God's Word through reading, meditating on it, hearing the Word, and fellowshipping with God's people. When we have His Word in us, it flows out of us, not just in word and deed but in our countenance: our mood and attitude. And we definitely look better when our countenance is very positive. Here are some scriptures to help:

Do you not know that you are God's temple and that
God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys
God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's
temple is holy, and you are that temple.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17

Do you not know that your body is a temple
of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have
received from God? You are not your own;
1 Corinthians 6:19

Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light for my path.
Psalm 119:105

I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.
Psalm 119:11

From whom the whole body, joined and held
together by every joint with which it is equipped,
when each part is working properly, makes the
body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
Ephesians 4:16

God gave us the bodies we have. Then, when we are doing our best to fill our bodies up with Jesus, then we need to physically take care of them. We need to get exercise, 7-8 hours of sleep, and eat healthier including cutting back on portions. It is not easy but aren't we worth it. God says we are. And we will feel better and be able to do more for the Lord.

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
Psalm 139:13-16

Well, we are worth it to God! And we need to do our part. We need to hunger and thirst after Jesus not food or drink or living. This is not a New Year's resolution but a lifestyle so that we can not only feel better but feel better about ourselves.

You can do it!

Have an amazing day!
