Good morning on this blessed Wednesday!

I pray that you had a great night last night. I am still tired from my trip but I did stay up later than I usually do and got up at 6:45. Then on Sunday I am leaving again for four days. I like to go but when I get home I feel like I get farther behind in my duties at home. 

Our mission trip we go on is soon and I am so excited about that. I love to be working for Jesus. The preparing is a lot of work but it is worth every minute of it. When I am gone I will use this blog for the mission minutes so to speak, so everyone at our church etc. can keep abreast of what is going on. Last year I did a different blog but since I do this one every day, I might as well use this one for both purposes, to tell of what Jesus is doing. I can't wait!

Today is my oldest grandson's 6th birthday. He is such a precious child of the Most High King. He has such a tender heart and is so silly. He loves to laugh and make you laugh. I love him so very much. And I will say the same about his brother whose birthday is next month.

I just turned the tv on to see about storms in the midwest. The storms are not as severe tornado-wise but they are pretty bad for rain. There are flash flood warnings and much rain. It will be coming this way again. We have had so much rain in the last several months that every time it does my road floods real bad. I came home on Monday and the creek down the road was over the road and about 3 feet deep and 100 feet wide. I had to turn around and go all the way around.

May God protect everyone and give them peace and comfort. We have had such wild weather in the past few years in the US. But the Bible says:

There will be great earthquakes, famines and 
pestilences in various places, and fearful 
events and great signs from heaven.
Luke 21:11

Read Luke 21:5-33. It will tell you much more of this and that we need to be ready. These scriptures are talking about end times and what we have to look forward to. And much is happening already. We are on our way to spending eternity with Jesus. And I am excited about that also. I am ready!

Are you ready? Do you have Jesus living inside of you? Are you believing, loving, worshiping, and serving Him? Think about it. This earth will get so much worse and you will need Jesus to help you through it and take you to Heaven with Him when that time comes.

You can do it. You can believe if you don't already. It is by faith, not by works. Read God's Word. Study it. Talk to God about it. Give your heart to Him! He loves you!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
