GO

Good morning on this special day!

This is the last day of VBS. But last night was awesome. Oh my! We had about 91 but it was a great night of ministry. The song in the music part of assembly that was new tonight is a worship song. It was called Worthy. Wow! It was beautiful and everyone was so quiet and then I kind of gave a short sermon. Well not really a sermon but I tried to talk a bit about living for Jesus and that He was worthy. And then in the classes everyone talked about salvation and what it means to live for Jesus. We had the privilege of praying with a teenage girl about difficulties in her life. We also have had quite of few kids that God has saved. Praise the Lord! Please pray for them that they will learn how to live for Jesus.
We are only here for a week. And when there are salvation decisions made, there is no discipleship for them. Some may go to church. So, pray that that will be something that can be remedied.
Everything just went great last night. I am so thankful. I always help my husband with the refreshments and take pictures and help wherever needed. I was able to help with the story in the 1-2 grade class. I just love all this stuff.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to be here. And so much for our great team. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't be here. We wouldn't be doing what we are doing because we couldn't do it without them.

And He said to them, “Go into all the world
and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:15

This is what we are here for: to go and to preach. We came, all 24 of us, and we have a new team member since we have been here. The church and community worker from the mission has been with us all week. It's the first time we have had a team member from Mississippi. Praise the Lord! He is part of us. We are so thankful for him and all the work he has done for us and with us as well as his own daily duties here at the mission.

All of us are to go whether it is to our cousins and neighborhoods, or the next city, or the next state or country. But we can't just talk about it, we have to just do it. We have to get out of the box. We have to. It is a command.

Think about it. Have a blessed day!
