LIFE IS CHRIST

 
Good morning on this blessed day!

I pray that all is well with you. Did you have a great day yesterday? I sure did. God has blessed me with so much. I am not talking about money because that is not the case and I am fine with that. If God wanted us to be wealthy in money, we would be. But we are wealthy in so many other things. Too many to count. Of course, a little more money is always nice. But that is not what life is all about. 
 
Life is about Jesus. It is not about you or me. It is not about our difficulties. I am not saying those things aren't important because they are. But if we dwell on Jesus first, then He will help us with all the other things. Praise God for His mercy and His grace. 
 
He is filled with unconditional love for us. I know that we all know that but sometimes we need to be reminded.
 
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the 
life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6
 
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, 
for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my 
weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 
2 Corinthians 12:9
 
Answer me when I call to you, my righteous 
God. Give me relief from my distress; have 
mercy on me and hear my prayer.
Psalm 4:1
 
Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, 
for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow
 of your wings until the disaster has passed.
Psalm 57:1
 
Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the 
mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
Jude 1:21 

Scripture can say anything so much better than I can. It is perfect and directly from God. So, be filled with God's love, mercy and grace and then share it with everyone around you. And remember foremost to put Christ first.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
