GO AND TELL


Good morning in the Name of Jesus!

This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)

Go forth this very day and live for the Lord Jesus Christ. Be an example of Jesus. Witness for Him not only in actions and deeds but in words if needed.

Therefore be imitators of 
God as dear children. 
Ephesians 5:1

Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
1 Corinthians 11:1

 He who says he abides in Him ought 
himself also to walk just as He walked.
1 John 2:6

But you shall receive power when the 
Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you 
shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, 
and in all Judea and Samaria, 
and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 1:8

For you will be His witness to all 
men of what you have seen and heard.  
Acts 22:15

The Bible clearly states that we should be like Christ and witness for Him. Are we doing that? Are we striving to do that? I do the best I know how at this time. But I can definitely do better. And as time goes on as we grow in Christ we will do better. God will give us the power with boldness if we ask. I want to tell others of what Jesus has done and is doing in my life. As I have said before, He is amazing. 

If we ask according to God's will, He will do exactly as we ask. When it comes to telling about Jesus, He will give us every word to speak. If He calls us to tell about Him, He will equip us with all we need to do the job that He has put before us. And I believe that as Christians we are all called to witness for Christ. The verses above say: "you shall be witnesses" and "you will be His witness".

It is the devil who does not want us to tell about Jesus. When we think that we can't do it or whatever excuse we have, it is the evil one filling our minds with the negative.

How then will they call on Him in 
whom they have not believed? How 
will they believe in Him whom they 
have not heard? And how will they 
hear without a preacher? 
Romans 10:14

How will people know about Jesus if we don't tell them? How will people believe if we don't witness? How will they hear without a preacher? Now granted we are not the preacher of a church. Well, maybe some of us are. But anyway, our preaching is our witness. 

Then he told them, "As you go into all the 
world, proclaim the gospel to everyone.
Mark 16:15

Let's go and tell.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
