MY WEAKNESS
Good morning to you on this fine day!
I am waiting on the sunshine. Again another several days of clouds and rain. But I think the sun is going to shine today. Praise the Lord!
Should we depend on the Lord? Oh, yes, we should! I can tell you that. This mission trip, thinking about it for a year, praying for it for a year, preparing for it for a year, putting it all together for a year, is tiring. If I didn't have Jesus, I wouldn't be able to do it. I am so thankful that He is my King and my Lord and He tells me and shows me what to do. By the time I get to Mississippi, I am already worn out both mentally and physically. But you know what? I can do it with God's help and He will give me peace and His love and His everything else so that I can do it. He is so good and great and amazing. His love endures for ever. And because of that, it is worth every second of it. Great is Thy faithfulness!
So, what am I trying to say? God will help you with whatever it is that you need to do. He will even help us with the things that we kind of do on our own without even asking for His help and His will. The things that we want to do that are not what He wants us to do. Then when the thing we are doing on our own goes haywire, God is there to pick up the pieces and help us. That's because He is a magnificent God.
Each time he said, “My grace is all you need.
My power works best in weakness.” So now I am
glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that
the power of Christ can work through me.
2 Corinthians 12:9
Usually people don't feel comfortable boasting about their weaknesses so that Jesus's power will rest on them. But the next verse is this:
So, as I spend the next few days finishing up preparations for our mission trip, when my weaknesses really come out, Jesus's grace and power will rest on me, and I will be strong. And our God will do the same for you. And that is a promise we can take to the bank. Isn't HE amazing?
Have a blessed day!

That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in
the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that
I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:10
So, as I spend the next few days finishing up preparations for our mission trip, when my weaknesses really come out, Jesus's grace and power will rest on me, and I will be strong. And our God will do the same for you. And that is a promise we can take to the bank. Isn't HE amazing?
Have a blessed day!
