PRAISE GOD

Hi and good morning!

What an awesome blessing last night was. We had 107 come to VBS last night. It was a great night but a sad night. The sad part is always saying goodbye to our Choctaw friends. When you come for 17 years, they become your friends. We always look so forward to going and seeing them again each year. The kids remember us after all these years. They have grown up with us for one week each year. They have learned about Jesus with us for one week each year. Quite a few kids received Jesus this year. I know for sure of 2 youth boys who did. Not sure of the count from the other classes yet. I am already thinking of things to do and plan for next year.

I am also going to miss our team after breakfast. We will all go our separate ways and to our homes and back to our routines. And this week will be turned into wonderful God moments and memories. And as we tell the team each year, our team will never be the same again. God has put us together to love each other as well as the Choctaw people. The bonding and friendships made at a time like this is really awesome.

I am so thankful that God has lead us and helped us to lead this team and blessed me so greatly. I can’t thank Him enough for the experiences He has given me in the ministries He has put us in. I have been so touched this year and in everything that He guides us to do.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9

So, this is what God leads our hands at: to help others not perish but to ask Jesus to live in their hearts. And God is no respecter of persons. He wants everyone to do this. So, that is why we do the mission trip. That is why my husband preaches. That is why we teach Sunday School. That is why we love Him so.
Pray for our trip home and have a fantastic day!
