NEW DAY

Good morning to you on this
blessed Sunday morning!

May God bless you and keep you and give you His peace on this new day! A day that the Lord has made. I may be a little short winded today. Today is a big day which the Lord has blessed us with. My husband will take over as pastor of a new church today. It sort of happened at the last minute. But we are praising God for His grace and mercy.

And we know that He has great things in store for us and this new church. May God be glorified and honored and praised in this new place. Please pray for us as the transition takes place.

We will sorely miss our friends at our home church but I also know that we will see them on special occasions.

Now that we are home and this year's mission trip is over, I will be spending a few months on paperwork and photo DVDs in order to button it up. But I will never forget the way God worked and blessed us and the new friends that I have from the mission team. It was amazing as I said here every day during the last week.

But you know that God has a plan for each of us. And I believe that it isn't always the same. Sometimes it is time to make changes. Some things in our lives run their courses and God has something bigger and better for us. He is amazing!

For I know the plans I have for
you,” declares the Lord, “plans to
prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11

God knows His plans for us and part of those plans is to prosper us and not harm us, and to give us a hope and a future. His plans don't include bad things. But when the evil one has those plans, God can allow things to happen like He did with Job. If you haven't read that book, you need to. Of course, we don't want terrible things to happen in our lives, but God will help us and take us through the desert with His love. And He will bring us out the other end a better person for it. Things that happen in our lives build character in us and make us stronger.

So, let's stay close to God and He will stay close to us. Let us pray without ceasing. And let us trust and believe that what He says He will do, He will do.
And He will give us a new day!

Have a blessed day!
