GOD CREATED

 
Good morning to you this great
new day that the Lord has given us!
 
Is all well with you?
 
May the Lord bless you from Zion, he
who is the Maker of heaven and earth.
Psalm 134:3
 
He, our great God, is Maker of heaven and earth. We didn't make the heavens and earth. There wasn't an explosion. The apes didn't just appear from a glob of something. God made everything and saw that it was good. And for God good is great.
 
It was Adam and Eve's fall that made things on earth not so great. Then, there were weeds in the ground, bad weather sometime thereafter, sin, unlikeable people, war, anger, and all those things that are not pleasing to God. The fall is where all things not so good started. And they continue to this day and will continue to spiral out of control and downhill. Lord have mercy on us!  

I am definitely not perfect, very far from it. But God in His great mercy for me, for all of us, did what He needed to do in order to free us from the effects of sin.

But because of his great love for us,
God, who is rich in mercy,  made us
alive with Christ even when we were
dead in transgressions—it is by
grace you have been saved.
Ephesians 2:4-5

That is a miracle for us to be thankful for. God made salvation a way for us to be saved from our sin. Otherwise, we would be in our sin forever and ever living in the deepest pit of despair. That is not where I want to be and you shouldn't want to be there either. I want to be in the heaven He created and live with Jesus for everlasting to everlasting.

So, I pray that you would believe and ask Jesus into your heart and live for Him all the days of your life. I pray that we would be the believers and followers of Jesus that He would have us to be. That we would seek His face and try to love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength and love our neighbors as ourselves.

If my people, who are called by my name,
will humble themselves and pray and seek my
 face and turn from their wicked ways, then I
will hear from heaven, and I will forgive
their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14

all your heart and with all your soul and with

VICTORY

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
