VICTORY


Well, good morning!
This will be an awesome day. We leave for Mississippi for the mission trip. Much to do yet and my alarm didn't go off so I am running late. Pray for us. The evil one is attacking so we need to come against him in the precious Name of Jesus. God is in control and He knows our every need. May He only be glorified and honored and worshiped and loved. The victory is HIS!

We will do that. We look forward to the awesome and wonderful things God is doing and going to do. We  pray for each team member and each child and adult that comes to our VBS, God would be lifted up, and that people would come to know Jesus and believe and then live their lives totally for Him. It is hard to do in some other cultures because it is not the thing to do. What is so awesome is the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians Chief is a Christian and a member of one of our mission churches. So, now being a Christian is kind of the thing to do. What a ministry she could have with the Choctaw people. If she is bold for Christ. You certainly can't throw Christianity in peoples faces but you can be a godly example and do the Christian things. In other words, be an witness for Christ.

And that is what we can do. Just be a witness for Jesus and a disciple of His in the true sense of the word. That is what I plan to do the rest of my life with God's help. And so can you!

It is not the easiest thing to do. Our flesh wants to do everything our own way. But God's way is best. And in our love for Him, we can do it because nothing is impossible with God.

He loves us and died on the cross for us. And He rose again and gave us victory in Jesus.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
