CHILDREN OF GOD

 
Good morning to you on this Saturday! 
 
I pray that all is well with you. I am sitting here at my son and daughter-in-law's home. My grandsons are still asleep and I am praying about what God would have me share with you today.

My grandkids, both boys, are so sweet. In the evening when they are getting ready for bed, they take their baths. After that it is like a door opens and the boys get so silly. They laugh at everything and make fun and do silly things. They egg each other on and laugh more. Meanwhile we are telling them what they need to do and they really don't listen and make silly of what we say. It is really kind of comical but I mustn't laugh because it is time for them to stop. As I said yesterday, grand kids are just that--grand! And there is a great reason that people that have children are usually young. Is it time for bed yet?

and my children were around me,

They are always generous and lend freely; 
their children will be a blessing.

...So the next generation would know them,
    even the children yet to be born,

Children, what a blessing! And it if wasn't for our children, we wouldn't have grandchildren. I can't praise God enough for these in our families. I remember when my children were young. I loved it. And would love to have them children again. I miss that time in their lives. 

God makes time go on for a reason. Time cannot stand still. I guess when we all get to heaven what a glorious day that will be. Then time will stand still in a way. Life won't change like it does today. We will be praising and glorifying God and singing to the Lord all the day long. I am sure there will be other things we will be doing. Maybe dancing unto the Lord! What a day of rejoicing that will be!

Let's think about that and get ourselves ready. Jesus will return soon!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
