HE LIFTS YOU UP
Good morning to you on this awesome
Sunday morning, the 4th Sunday in Lent.
Grace and peace to you from God our
Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 1:3
I pray that you had a great night. I did and I didn't. When I got home from my little trip I was exhausted and when I went to bed I was really exhausted. I couldn't wait to go to sleep but I couldn't. Then I woke up a lot and I think that I dreamed a lot. I woke up this morning and both my shoulders ached and I felt discombobulated. That is actually a word. It means confused or disconcerted; upset; frustrated. I don't know what happened.
But I have been praying and I know that God is with me. It is probably the evil one trying to throw me off my high from my trip. But God is mightier and greater and I give Him all the glory for the great things He has done. His grace is sufficient for me, for all of us.
So, when you have a time of confusion or frustration just take the time to praise and worship God. Don't let any time go by, just do it. Because things like that can fester and the devil can really take hold and give you an awful time. He can make you mad and frustrated and even sick with worry and upset. And he is good at that. Remember he comes to do nothing but to steal, kill, and destroy. Just like in the book of Job, he wants us to curse God. And the crazier the devil makes things, the closer we get to doing just that. But just spend time praising God instead. Even if the only thing you can say is the name of Jesus, or thank you God, over and over again.
Remember God is good all the time. And He is a gentleman and He won't make you do these kinds of things. We have to praise and worship Him kind of on our own as in our choice to do it. But do it!
Don't let the devil make you do stuff or say stuff or think stuff, though those kinds of things are our choice to do. But make the choice to praise God instead. Don't let the evil one drag you down but instead let God lift you up.
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome
them, because the One who is in you is greater
than the one who is in the world.
1 John 4:4
Humble yourselves before the
Lord, and He will lift you up.
James 4:10
Let God lift you up! He loves you!
Have an awesome day!
