TO KNOW HIM

Hello and good morning!

Hope you had a blessed good Friday! We went to a Good Friday service last night. It was very nice for a death of Jesus service. It was very solemn as it should be. The choir sang all the songs a cappella. They were wonderful.
                                                                                                     I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power 
of his resurrection and participation in his 
sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
Philippians 3:10

Blessed and holy are those who share in the 
first resurrection. The second death has no power 
over them, but they will be priests of God and of 
Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
Revelation 20:6

We, as Christians, share in the resurrection with Christ. He died for us. He gave up His life for us. And because He loves us we are blessed and holy. We believers in Christ (the redeemed) are not subject to death because we have life (which Jesus breathed into us), when we were born again. We will never die. 

This second death mentioned here is for the lost. Not only will the Christians reign on this earth with Jesus for 1000 years, but we will live for all eternity in heaven with Jesus, because we have eaten of the Tree of Life which is Jesus Christ our Lord.

How awesome is that! If you don't know Jesus as Savior, today is the day of salvation. Please don't wait. Time is moving quickly and Jesus is coming back soon. I am praying for you. I want you, all God's readers of this blog, to share in our heavenly home where Jesus will take us when He comes back. You need to know Him! Think about it!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
