GOD'S HELP

Hello on this blessed new day!

I pray that you had a wonderful night. We watched a movie on Hallmark called No Higher Love. Oh my! It was one on those movies that really made you cry. It was really good. I told my husband that he shouldn't put a tear-jerker on for me right before church. Then I go to church looking like I have been crying. I guess it really doesn't matter. My church is my family. Then again I went to church and no one even noticed. Yes, a family doesn't look at those kinds of things unless you really need them to. Then, they are really there for you. I thank God for my church family.

The other night I was feeling kind of sad. I was on my way home about 8:00 PM and a little doggie ran out of the dark into the road right in front of me and I hit it. I didn't even have time to slow down much less stop. I turned around and went back to see about the dog but it wasn't there. I didn't know what to do.

I called my husband and since he was sick the phone in the bedroom was turned off, so of course he didn't answer. I called my son and he was in the middle of dinner so he couldn't talk. So, there I am a little upset and no one to talk to. So, I just drove home and talked to God. I kept thinking what if the little dog belonged to some little kids or an old person. What have I done? I just kept praying until God gave me some peace. This road is a very busy road. Animals should be in a yard or on a leash not running across the road. I do feel really bad but I gave it to God and apologized to Him countless times. As I said He did give me peace.

God is like that you know. He helps us through the big things and the little things. He loves us so much and wants to help us through all we go through no matter what it might be.

So do not fear, for I am with you;
    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever
you face trials of many kinds, because you know that
the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be
mature and complete, not lacking anything.
James 1:2-4

 Every test that you have experienced is the kind
that normally comes to people. But God keeps his
promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond
your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to
the test, he will give you the strength to endure it,
and so provide you with a way out.
1 Corinthians 10:13

God will help you through it. Keep your eyes on Him. He is the answer.

Have a great day!

Les
