GOD'S WAY

Good morning to you on this blessed Saturday!

Friday was a very busy day. Was it for you? But God always helps to make it work. And if it doesn't go the way I want, that is okay. God is in control. Praise Him! I don't want to be in control. Although I do try to take over things and I shouldn't. I need to let God have control. It is really hard.

We have also received an inheritance in Him,
predestined according to the purpose of the
One who works out everything in agreement
with the decision of His will, 12 so that we who
had already put our hope in the Messiah
might bring praise to His glory.
Ephesians 1:11-12

He rules forever by his power,
    his eyes watch the nations—
let not the rebellious rise up against him.
Psalm 66:7

Does this mean if we do things our way we are rebellious? Oh my!

Because the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.”
Hebrews 12:6

So, doing things our way is rebellious and therefore God disciplines us.

The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice;
let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
Psalm 97:1

Instead of doing things our way, we need to let God have His way. As I said the other day, our God reigns. So, let Him do it! Remember I am especially talking to myself in these things. But it just might be something someone else needs to hear also.

Well, our God reigns! What an awesome thing! We don't have to do it all. We don't have to be in charge. In all reality, who wants to be in charge. Not me. When we are in charge, it seems that no one agrees with us. So, let's work at letting God be in control. His ways are perfect!

Have a blessed day!
