I NEED THEE

Good morning to you this fine day!

May all be well with you and yours. I am not feeling very well today. Maybe I am just tired. It was a very busy weekend. I know that my allergies are showing their ugly face today. I also have a ganglion cyst on my left foot below the outside ankle bone and some days it even hurts to walk. Today is one of those days. But I will be just fine. God will take care of me as the hymn goes.

Sunday at church we had special singers. One couple sang a song called "Beloved, Come Away With Me". It is about Jesus wanting us to come away with Him. Follow Him. Live for Him. Die to self for Him. Love Him. Praise Him. Worship Him. That is what I want to do all the days of my life. I don't do such a good job. I can always to better. And I can't do it without Him. I need to do my part but I still need Jesus as my Pilot. I don't want Him as my co-pilot but I want Him as my Pilot.

I want Jesus to lead me, guide me, and direct me. I need Him to love me, forgive me, and fill me with His presence. I need Him to show me the way to live for Him. I need Him. You need Him. We all need Him. Some of us don't know it but we all need Him.

Such the words of the hymn  I Need Thee Every Hour.

I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord;
No tender voice like Thine can peace afford.

Refrain:
 I need Thee, O I need Thee;
Every hour I need Thee;
O bless me now, my Savior,
I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, stay Thou nearby;
Temptations lose their power when Thou art nigh.

Refrain

I need Thee every hour, in joy or pain;
Come quickly and abide, or life is in vain.

Refrain

I need Thee every hour; teach me Thy will;
And Thy rich promises in me fulfill.

Refrain

I need Thee every hour, most Holy One;
O make me Thine indeed, Thou blessed Son.

Refrain

 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that
we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16

May God bless you and keep you today in your time of need.
