LIFE IN CHRIST

Good morning to you on 
this wonderful Wednesday!

Blessings to you in the Name of Jesus! Doesn't life seem so crazy sometimes? I have been feeling anxious for about four days. I know that I am extremely busy and that my husband's back is very hurt and I have a friend that is really hurting and I haven't been feeling very well and am very tired, but why am I feeling weird? Only God knows and maybe I am not to know at this time. But one day soon I hope God will fill me in on it. Maybe I won't be so busy and my husband's back will be healed and my friend will stop hurting. Then I will feel better, less tired and less anxious and less weird. It is like I am anticipating something and don't know what.

Well, I will do my best to keep my focus on Jesus. Sometimes the evil one tries to take our focus off Jesus and onto other things. But I will:

Therefore submit to God. Resist the 
devil and he will flee from you.
James 4:7
 
That is what I will do. The evil one would like nothing better than to railroad us onto his side, take us away from God and destroy us.
 
The thief does not come except to steal, 
and to kill, and to destroy. I have 
come that they may have life, and that 
they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:10
 
But that is not the end, Jesus came that we may have life, and life abundantly. That is a promise! We can have abundant life in Christ. I didn't say perfect or rich, just abundant. Jesus will supply all our needs.
 
And my God shall supply all your 
need according to His riches in 
glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
 
God knows what we need even before we do. And He will supply it. So, we need to submit to God, resist the devil and then remember always that Jesus will supply all our need and give us abundant life. And this is our always life. We don't live it part of the time but all the time as best we know how with God's help. He loves us so much, not some of us but all of us.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
