HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Good morning to you on this wonderful Mother's Day!

She watches over the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness,
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
Proverbs 31:27-28

Call your mother and tell her you love her. Tell her that she is amazing. I would give anything to be able to call my mother and tell her those things. I miss her so much. She passed away in Nov. 2005 of strokes. When she had her first one, she didn't have the will to live in the end. The therapy and life, I guess, was just too much for her. But she had more strokes. The quality of life just isn't the same at that point. She was a different person.

My Mom was vibrant and fun. She loved to dress up in costume like dress and do crazy things for different occasions. At least my step-father thought she was crazy. I thought she just loved to have fun.

Mothers! They take care of us, even when we are older. Once a mother, always a mother. They teach us. I am the way I am because of my mother. And they love us. No one can love like a mother. Except Jesus Christ and He loves us so much more.

The Bible says:

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God;
and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
He who does not love does not know God, for God is
love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us,
 that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world,
that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that
we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be
 the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so
 loved us, we also ought to love one another.
1 John 4:7-11

God's love is unconditional. I looked for a specific verse and couldn't find just one. There were so many that tell us of God's love for us and how great it is. We are to love one another. And mother's do that so well and, I believe, love us unconditionally.

God’s Love is Like a Mother’s Love. God said in Isaiah 66:13,  “As a mother comforts her son, so will I comfort you.”

So, love your mother and tell her how you feel. She needs to hear that. She needs to hear your voice. She needs to hear how you are doing even if it isn't any different than last week or last month. Show her you care. She deserves it.

Have a blessed Mother's Day! Even if you are a father or don't have any children because I am sure somewhere along the way you have impacted a child.
