PRAISE THE LORD
Good morning on this blessed Sabbath Day!
I hope and pray all is well with you. And that you had a blessed Saturday. We did. We had a day without rushing and went out for the day just to be with each other, my husband and I. We don't get that opportunity very often. Either he is working or we stay home and do chores. So, it is always nice just to spend the day together.
I hope you do that periodically. It is nice to have nowhere to go or no time schedule and just hang out.
Now this morning we have church and we have lunch after church. My husband fell asleep on the couch last night and never came to bed so when I got up there he was in the living room asleep on the couch. I couldn't make coffee or make the loaf of bread I was going to take to church. But as it turned out, I couldn't make it anyway, I didn't buy butter. Actually I tried to make it. I was attempting to do the bread in the laundry room when I realized what I was missing. Ah well!
Let's just praise the Lord!
“The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has
become my salvation. He is my God, and I will
praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
Exodus 15:2
I will proclaim the name of the Lord.
Oh, praise the greatness of our God!
Deuteronomy 32:3
“Hear this, you kings! Listen, you rulers! I, even I, will sing to the Lord; I will praise the Lord, the God of Israel, in song.
Judges 5:3
“The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock!
Exalted be my God, the Rock, my Savior!
2 Samuel 22:47
Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make
known among the nations what he has done.
Psalm 105:1
Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the Lord.
Psalm 106:48
Oh, Lord, our God, how great You are! How awesome and wonderful and magnificent You are! I cannot praise You enough! You Lord are so great and greatly to be praised.
If you don't know how to praise the Lord, just quote God's Word. There are so many scriptures that tell of how the writer praises the Lord. Let God's Word minister to you. A great place to start is the book of Psalms. Just read until you find praise to the Lord our God.
So let's just praise the Lord! You can do it!
Have a wonderful day!
