THE TRUTH


Good morning to you!
My son and family came yesterday. I am so blessed! I just love it when I get to see them. It is not often enough. We bbq'd hamburgers and hot dogs, traditional Memorial Day fare, I guess. I just love making hamburgers at home. They are so good. 

Then, we went outside and practiced t-ball. They are both on t-ball teams. Evan did some real good hitting. He is going to be a great slugger. Even when the tee goes flying with it. I just love that kind of stuff. Then, I got cold and the bugs were out. Can you believe it? Memorial Day weekend and I got cold. It only got up to 76* yesterday. And yesterday morning it was only in the 40's.
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things 
and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For 
I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and 
testified of the truth that is in you, just as you 
walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than 
to hear that my children walk in truth.
3 John 2-4

Bert is reading Evan's Bible to him that he got from his church. The print is so small he can hardly see it. But the Word is the same and It is not little. Regardless of how small the print is, God's Word is magnificent and never changes.

The Bible is God's truth. It is only truth and all of the truth. There are people who may try to tell you that it is not real or not the truth but don't believe it. And God's Word says:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, 
and the life. No one comes 
to the Father except through Me.
John 14:6

Sanctify them by Your
 truth. Your word is truth.
John 17:17


In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John 1:1-5 
So, God is the Word. And Jesus is "the way, the truth, and the life". And since Jesus is God, the Son, He is the Word and He was in the beginning, and He was with God, and was God. And all things were made through Him. He is the light which shines in the darkness, and the darkness didn't understand it. So, if you don't know God and don't believe God and don't understand God, then you are in darkness. 

Please come into the light. Give your life to Jesus. Believe in Him! Don't wait another day. We don't know what tomorrow will bring.
 
 For He says:“In an acceptable time I 
have heard you, And in the day 
of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, now is the accepted time;
behold, now is the day of salvation.
2 Corinthians 6:2

Do it before it is too late. If you have already accepted Christ then, praise be to the God of salvation. You are Heaven bound!

VICTORY

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
