MY STRENGTH

Good morning to you on this fine day!

 I pray that you slept well and you are raring to go. I guess I am. I seem to be so tired lately. I guess a combination of lots to do and lots to prepare for. I never sit down until it is time to eat supper. And then for only a short time to eat and then I go again until bedtime. Some nights I do sit down with my husband and watch TV with him until bed because I just can't go anymore. Life can be so hectic!

 But then again sometimes we say yes too much as I have talked about before. But the Lord is our strength. He is our fortress and our defender.
The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him.
Psalm 28:7

But You, O Lord, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head.
Psalm 3:3

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Psalm 18:2

To You, O my Strength, I will sing 
praises;For God is my defense,
My God of mercy.
Psalm 59:17

Read the Psalms as you praise the Lord. They are awesome. They lift your spirits. They can bring you into God's presence. If you don't believe that, try it. Or close your eyes and listen to them on www.biblegateway.com>audio bible. Then scroll on whatever version you want to listen to. And worship the Lord!

The Lord is my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation;
He is my God, and I will praise Him;
My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
Exodus 15:2    

 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of 
good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, 
for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9

So, the Lord is our strength. The Lord is our defense. The Lord is our rock and our fortress and our deliverer. The Lord is our shield. The Lord is our song and He is our God! And He is with us wherever we go! And whatever we do!

Let's lift Him up and exalt Him like never before. Let's be strong and of good courage. Let's be the people that God has called us to be. Let's praise the Lord and worship Him, the One True God. Sing to the Lord like never before.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
