IN HIS IMAGE

Good morning to you!

I hope you had a blessed Sunday! I sure did. Although I had to drive to Ooltewah, near Chattanooga, in the rain for a church meeting. It rained buckets for a while. I do not like to drive in the rain. Probably no one does.

I am going to my son and family today. My oldest grandson is graduating from kindergarten tomorrow morning. My mind was on things that I need to do before I leave and I forgot to do my blog this morning. I have been doing this since October and I felt as though I didn't do something but just got involved in stuff and then "Oh my goodness! I forgot to do the blog that God has called me to do. Forgive me Lord!" How on earth could I forget to do that. I do it every morning after I spend my personal time in devotion. How can I forget?

I was concerned also with getting a prescription for blood pressure filled since I am almost out and the prescription has expired, etc., etc. I do know one thing. And that is God is great all the time and He is a forgiving God and as soon as we ask He forgives. And so here I am. I apologize to those who read this first thing in the morning. I always try to have it posted by 9 AM.

Sometimes I wonder if my head is on straight. But I know it is because God made it that way.

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of
God he created them; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27

He created them male and female and blessed them.
And he named them “Mankind” when they were created.
Genesis 5:2

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in
my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully
and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
Psalm 139:13-14

My doctor just called me and my blood sugar was high and my cholesterol was too high, at least when I had the blood test done last week. Oh, Lord, help me! I don't want to go on meds for those things. I will eat better and exercise more. I won't have it done until November again. So, I have 6 months to bring it down with God as my pilot.

So, we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. And God does not make mistakes. He loves us and cares so much about us.

                                 Bring my sons from afar
and my daughters from the ends of the earth—

everyone who is called by my name,
whom I created for my glory,
                              whom I formed and made.”

                                       Isaiah 43:6b-7

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2:10

God made us in His image to glorify Him and then be born again in Christ Jesus (be saved), to do good works.

Lord, help us to glorify You in our actions and our being and do the good works that you have called us to do. And since we can do nothing without You, Lord, help us to do those things. May we honor You and love You and praise You and worship You in the way that You desire. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Have a blessed day!
