ASLEEP

Good morning!

How are you this fine new day? Praise God for His many awesome blessings that He gives us every single day.

I fell asleep with the computer on my lap at 8:30 last night. My days seem to be so full that by 7 or so in the evening my eyes seem to start to close whether I am across the room from the TV, behind a book or newspaper, or in the front of the computer screen. My eyes just don't want to stay open. I claim that as a blessing from God since I have never been a good sleeper. I have always been a very light sleeper. And when I am not in my own bed sometimes I don't sleep much at all.

The last 6 months or so I have been a great sleeper. At least at home anyway. God has shown me that Black Cherry concentrate works great. Found it in one of my supplement books. I just drink one ounce in the evening and counting sheep is a breeze. I praise God for His many blessings.

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead,
the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
1 Corinthians 15:20

So, Jesus Christ arose from the dead, and He was the very first of those who have died or fallen asleep and risen. And because He was the first to rise, then we will follow Him and rise up to join Him and live with Him in heaven for eternity. So, if we know Jesus as our Lord and Savior we have this promise ahead of us.

It is hard for me to think that in the Bible the word sleep has to do with death but as a Christian we fall asleep but our souls rise to meet Jesus. I want to live with Him for eternity. I hope and pray that you do also.

Have a first-rate day,

Les (lesbear)
