LEGACY


Good morning on this great Saturday morning!
My husband did a funeral yesterday at a previous church he pastored. He did such a great job. I know it was sad for the family but it was a celebration of a life well lived. A legacy that will live on!

Jesus Christ led a perfect life. He taught and showed people how to live. He left a legacy for us to follow, to enjoy, to seek after, to love, and to live. He wants us to have an abundant and holy life and I am sure that He would want us to be happy too. Happiness is a choice!
The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, 
 and kill, and destroy: I came that they may 
have life, and may have [it] abundantly.
John 10:10

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the 
mercies of God, that ye present your bodies 
a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto 
God, [which is] your reasonable service.
Romans 12:1

But may the righteous be glad and rejoice 
before God; may they be happy and joyful.
Psalm 68:3


We can be happy and joyful no matter what we are going through because our joy and happiness is in the Lord. It comes from the Lord. Abundant life and holiness are from the Lord, also. Everything good is from the Lord. How can we not believe that with all our heart? The Bible tells us so. 

So, live for the Lord. And remember this from years ago, "Don't worry, be happy." And leave a legacy of God's love for
your family and friends.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
