LORD HELP


Good morning!
I pray all is well with you. We watched the movie Snow Bride on Hallmark last night. It was really good. Another Christmas movie. They are just beginning. My husband doesn't record the ones that have been on before only the new ones. Anyway, cute movie.

I needed to make a loaf of bread at 10 PM last night so I thought I was going to be up very late. It takes 3 hours for the bread to make and bake. But I used a recipe that I could set the timer and it would start when I wanted it to. So, I didn't have to stay up. Praise the Lord!

I never have been a night person and I don't want to start now. I just can't seem to stay awake when I have been up since 6:30 AM. I get so sleepy and a lot of time I fall asleep in the chair sometimes pretty early in the evening. Ugh!

What do we do when we need the Lord's intervention immediately? We cry "Jesus help". Or Lord help me. We don't even have to have all the words but just a quick cry to God. He always hears our cries for help. He knows what we need even before we ask. 

Listen to my cry for help, my King 
and my God, for to you I pray.
Psalm 5:2

In the same way, the Spirit helps us 
in our weakness. We do not know what 
we ought to pray for, but the Spirit 
himself intercedes for us with  
groans that words cannot express.
Romans 8:26

In my distress I called to the LORD; 
I cried to my God for help. From his 
temple he heard my voice; my cry 
came before him, into his ears.
Psalm 18:6

So, we just need to cry out for God to help and He will be there even if we don't have the words to say. How great is our God!

Call out to the Lord and He will help no matter what. Have a fabulous day!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
