GOD'S HELP
Good morning to you!
Did you get enough turkey and dressing and all the fixings yesterday? Oh it was so good and we have leftovers for a few days. I love it!
I am late this morning. I did sleep in today which is very unusual for me. But as soon as I got up my husband said to come on let's work on this project. So, with some argument from me I finally gave in and now it is 10 after 11 in the AM and I am just getting started on this blog.
We are doing some renovations inside our home and well you do have to pack up and move it all out in order to do it. I do have a feeling that we should have waited until after Christmas. I think that this might have been too big a project for the time frame. I mean Christmas will be here before we know it and I will have to decorate and clean (reno won't be done until about the 18 or 19th) before all our kids come. They will be here for Christmas. Praise God!
So, praise God for the reno and praise God for the kids coming. Well, maybe they can help us put it all back together. What fun! I just have a feeling that maybe we bit off more than we can chew between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Ugh! But remember:
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
Philippians 4:13
But I do know that Christ will give us strength to do the things that He wants us to do not necessarily the things that we want to do. But I pray in the name of Jesus that He will help us get through this busy time that we have put ourselves into. Some of it probably not His will.
I don't think that God wants us to get ourselves into things that will get us totally stressed out and anxiety-filled but He will get us through it. And just maybe with our boot straps still fastened and our head still on straight.
No, God is awesome and He will help us every step of the way no matter what we get ourselves into and need to get out of.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne
of grace, that we may obtain mercy and
find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16
God is our refuge and strength, A very present
help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed, And though
the
mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Psalm 46:1-2
“Every word of God is pure; He is a shield
to those who put their trust in Him."
Proverbs 30:5
... "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread
alone, but by every word of God.'"
Luke 4:4
I will lift up my eyes to the hills — From whence
comes my help? My
help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. He will not
allow
your foot to be moved; He who
keeps you will not slumber.
Psalm 121:1-3
So, don't worry about what you are going through. You can be concerned but don't worry. It won't help and that is one thing that God doesn't like. It means we are not trusting Him.
Let's put our trust in Him knowing that He will help us and get us through it.
Have a marvelous day!
