HAPPY THANKSGIVING


Good morning!
How are you on this fabulous Thanksgiving Day? How thankful are you on this day? I pray very thankful. God is awesome all the time and all the time God is awesome. He loves you so much and He wants you to be very thankful to Him because all good things come from Him. He doesn't really need to hear it but we should be a thankful people anyways because He is worthy. He deserves it. He is the creator of the universe and He is our Lord God Almighty.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom
 that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so 
worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,
Hebrews 12:28

Devote yourselves to prayer, 
being watchful and thankful.
Colossians 4:2

I will praise God's name in song and 
glorify him with thanksgiving.
Psalm 69:30

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with 
praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
Psalm 100:4

As you spend a wonderful day with family or friends or both,  eating your turkey dinner, and watching football, and doing dishes, remember that God has given you everything you have. Your family, your friends, your job, your home, your car, your life. And maybe your life is not perfect, neither is mine, but it is the only one we have got, maybe we should rejoice and be glad in it. Maybe because God gave it to us, warts and all.

Actually, I don't think that God gave us the warts in our lives. Sometimes we make bad choices or just life goes on and it is not just the way that we want it to go. We do not live in a perfect world. But as I said it is the only one we've got. And we need to make the best of it. Remember God is love. He is our joy. He is our salvation. And each day we have on this earth is one that the Lord has made.

This is the day the LORD has made; 
let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, 
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, 
present your requests to God.
Philippians 4:6

Have an awesome Thanksgiving and give God all the honor, glory and praise. For His mercy endures forever.

VICTORY

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
