THANK YOU
Good morning!
I am a little late today. I was making Pumpkin Bread and other such things for the day before Thanksgiving. I do have to go out and work today. It is going to be 32* for the high and 10-15 mph winds. Ugh!! All I want to do is stay home but if I don't go out today then Friday will be an extremely busy day. And I don't want it to be that busy. After all it is the day after Thanksgiving.
So, tomorrow is officially the first day of the Thanksgiving/Christmas season for 2013. And then before you know it, it will be the new year. Oh, Lord, help us to love and enjoy the holidays and let us not be stressed and to keep our focus on Jesus, Who is the reason for the season.
We will not be with family tomorrow unfortunately because it just didn't work out. Our daughter and son-in-law live too far away and our son and daughter-in-law and grandsons had other family to be with. We are having some other people to be with and give thanks with. I tried to invite more people but they had plans. It will be the first time that we have not had Thanksgiving with family. It is kind of sad in a way and breaks my heart but we will have a blessed time with friends. God has blessed us with other people to be with.
So, especially tomorrow remember to give thanks profusely to the One Who gave us everything in our lives that is good and great and awesome. May you have a day filled with love and blessings.
Give thanks to the LORD, call on his
name; make his deeds known to all people!
1 Chronicles 16:8
Give thanks to the LORD because he is
good, because his faithful love endures forever.
1 Chronicles 16:34
Whatever you do, whether in speech or action,
do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus
and give thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:17
Give thanks in every situation because
this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
Praise God for giving us Jesus, Who is our Savior, our King of kings and Lord of lords.
Have an awesome day!
