HELP US KNOW YOUR WILL

Good morning!

How are you this great morning? I am a little late this morning. I was working on this and my battery went dead. So, then I had to wait until I had enough power to reboot and thought I lost the whole blog but it was still here. Praise God!

It has been a year and a couple of days since God had me start this blog. I praise Him for always helping me with it and with giving me the right words to say. I pray that it has helped you in some way to grow closer to Jesus. It has me.

I will continue on until He tells me that it has run its course. Some things do that, even good things for God. And when He tells us it is time to give something up and do a different thing, then that is what we should do. I hope I always remember that when God is wanting me to give something up that I don't want to. Or that I will listen to Him when I want to give something up and He doesn't want me to. We need to truly seek His face to really know what He wants.

It is easy to say that I am not going to do that anymore when things aren't going the way I want them to. The key word is "I want". I try to tell myself a lot that it is not about me. It is all about Jesus and what He wants. Wow! That is a hard one.

Do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewal
of your mind, that by testing you
may discern what is the will of God,
what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2

The steps of a man are established by
the Lord, when he delights in his way;
Psalm 37:23

Do not love the world or anything in
the world. If anyone loves the world,
the love of the Father is not in him.
 For everything in the world--the
cravings of sinful man, the lust of his
eyes and the boasting of what he has
and does--comes not from the Father
but from the world. The world and
its desires pass away, but the man who
does the will of God lives forever.
1 John 2:15-17

Oh, Lord God Almighty, help us to hear your voice leading and guiding us so that we do what you want us to do and not what we want to do. It is so easy to think that our will is yours but that is not to be most of the time. Direct us, O God, to know the difference. In Jesus Name, Amen!

Have a wonderfully, beautiful fall day!
