Good morning to you 
on this fine Saturday!

May your day be fabulous and your heart be filled with love! Yesterday was a busy day for me and I was really tired last night. I know that things don't always go as planned. Couldn't get my blood pressure meds picked up. The discount card I have been using won't work. I am totally out. I guess I am in trouble. The doctor told me this week not to forget to take it and take my pressure at least three times a day. Ugh!

Lord, help my blood pressure to stay down. It has been extremely high. It is hereditary for me and it is very high most of the time. It kind of scares me so I try not to think about it. Which means I don't take my pressure and have forgotten my meds before. So, pray for me.

Do you get scared of anything? I know that fear is not of God.

You will not fear the terror of night, 
nor the arrow that flies by day,
Psalm 91:5

He will have no fear of bad news; his heart 
is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
Psalm 112:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of 
power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
1 Timothy 1:7 
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives 
out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. 
The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
1 John 4:18

I have been feeling a little more fearful than I used to. We live in such an unsure world these days that it seems as though more people are fearful including me. This health and insurance stuff can be scary for a lot of people. War is scary. Terrorism is scary. Illness is scary. Lack of a job or enough work is scary. 

There are so many things these days that can make people fearful. But the biggest one should be the lack of God in people's lives. God loves us and He wants the best for us but we must trust Him. And we must pray for others so that God can fill us up and remove the fear in all of our lives. But that means we must trust Him fully, not partway. 

 That is very hard to do but in Christ we can do it. So, if you are not fully trusting Christ with your life, today is the day. Don't wait another day without giving Christ full reign of your life. Give Him yourself, and leave every fear and doubt in His hands. He can handle it!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
