LOVING REST


Good morning!
Wow! Have you watched the Billy Graham special The Cross? If you haven't seen it, you need to. I believe it is on today, Sunday. It was very powerful and the message is great. It is on again today on several Christian TV stations as well as 8 PM on Fox News. It is a must see and tell everyone you know. He always did have a great message. So, are you ready to tell people about Jesus. That's what Billy Graham is doing in a quick to the point way. He is leading you to the cross. Oh, bless you Rev. Graham. I pray for people to give their hearts to Jesus because of this show. I have heard that many people have done just that already and that people have recommitted their lives. What a blessing! Praise the Lord!

Today is a day of rest. Are you going to rest today? Are you resting now? Just take some time today to relax and be refreshed by the love of Jesus. 

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.

PREPARING FOR THE CHOCTAW TRIP

Saturday it is! We leave Saturday  for the Choctaw Mission Trip!  How excited we are! How ready are we? My heart is certainly ready! But the team stuff and my stuff, not so much. Well, I am close and here I sit writing this. I had better get moving. I have been working hard on and off for a year since Bert, my husband, and I are the team leaders. I couldn't do it without Jesus leading and guiding me all the way. He is my hope and my stay (from Hymn-My Hope is Built, verse 3). Every year the team comprises some of the same people-Praise the Lord!-and many new people-Praise the Lord again. This trip is a great first mission trip.
