HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JESUS

Good morning on this wonderful Christmas Day!

Oh, come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!

Merry Christmas! Today is the day of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6

And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest,and on earth peace
among those with whom he is pleased!”
Luke 2:8-14

Oh, praise God from Whom all blessings flow! If it wasn't for Jesus birthday, we would not have Christmas. So many, many people do not believe in Jesus but do celebrate Christmas. So, praise the Lord that they do not even realize that they do believe to a point that there is a special reason to celebrate Christmas. And with our prayers for the lost and our witness for Jesus, people will come to know Him. And we may not even know it.

So, as we celebrate this special day, may we all remember that it is Jesus that we put our focus on and not all the pretty wrapping paper and the tree and the presents and the shopping we have done but JESUS.

Oh, come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant,
Oh, come ye, Oh, come ye, to Bethlehem!
Born upon earth behold the King of Angels!

Oh, come let us adore Him,
Oh, come, let us adore Him,
Oh, come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!

Let the Christmas carols lift your spirits.

O holy night, the stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth;
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn;
ChorusFall on your knees, Oh hear the angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born!
O night, O holy night, O night divine.
~~~~~~~~~~~
O Come! Come Thou Emmanuel!
Redeem Thy captive Israel,
Who sad and exiled and forlorn,
Doth her long absent Saviour mourn;
Joy! Joy! now shall Emmanuel
Be born for thee, O Israel!
~~~~~~~~~~~

O little town of Bethlehem,
    How still we see thee lie!
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
    The silent stars go by.
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
    The everlasting Light;
The hopes and fears of all the years
    Are met in thee to-night.

 O morning stars, together
    Proclaim the holy birth!
And praises sing to God the King,
    And peace to men on earth.
For Christ is born of Mary
    And gathered all above,
While mortals sleep the Angels keep
    Their watch of wondering love.

I could go on and on with wonderful Christmas carols. But just remember who we sing about and who we are praising when we sing. Jesus is our Savior, our redeemer, our Lord, and our King! Immanuel, God with us!

Praise His holy name! May Christmas mean as much to you as it does to me.

Silent night, holy night,
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and Child.
Holy Infant, so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.

Merry Christmas to my family, friends, and acquaintances and strangers. Thank you for reading the blog that God had me start. It means more to me than you know.

Have an awesome Christmas Day!

Arise, shine, for your light has come,
    and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
Isaiah 60:1

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
