HIS PLAN
Good morning to you! Only 3 more days until Christmas. And the excitement builds. And the drama unfolds.
Have you ever had the unexpected happen? I am sure we all have. It can make you sad. It can make you happy. It can make you glad. It can make you cry. It can make you mad. It can really hurt you. But you know what? We have to depend on God and know that, as my husband reminded me, that all things work together for good to those who love God.
And we know that in all things God works for
the good of those who love him, who have
been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28
Even though that is the right answer, sometimes we don't want to hear it. We want things our way. But things don't always go the way we want them to. And that is okay. I mean they don't feel okay but, I guess, in the grand scheme of things they are okay.
We know that God's way is always best. As I said once before, He sees the big picture. He has a grand plan for us and for our loved ones.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares
the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to
harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
So, as the birthday of Jesus, the Christ, arrives let's "let go and let God". Let's let Him make the plans, and then let them happen His way, let Him work in our lives. Let's trust Him and depend on Him to lead, guide, and direct us along His path.
Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up
to the mountain of
the LORD, to the temple of the
God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that
we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out
from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Isaiah 2:3
...he refreshes my soul. He guides me along
the right paths for his name’s sake.
Psalm 23:3
We shall trust the Name of the Lord and walk His ways and He will be very pleased. He will refresh our soul. He will prosper us and give us hope and a future. What could be better than that?
Have an awesome day!
Les
